With almost four decades of experience in high-stakes tactical operations, Tom has faced the most extreme breaching scenarios imaginable. As a decorated SWAT operator and tactical team trainer through the world, he has dedicated his life to understanding both how to defeat security measures and how to build impenetrable ones.
His firsthand experience during the 2003 raid that inspired the Apex Barricades and device gave him a unique perspective on structural vulnerabilities and the mechanics of force distribution.

His extensive background in engineering and manufacturing has driven the development of reliable, American-made products built to perform in demanding environments. Thomas is dedicated to delivering practical solutions that prioritize safety, quality craftsmanship, and long-term performance for schools, municipalities, contractors, and commercial customers.
